Terms of Service — Sugar Panic

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Sugar Panic (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Sugar Panic is a wellness application designed to help users manage sugar cravings through guided interventions, AI-powered suggestions, breathing exercises, educational quizzes, and progress tracking. Sugar Panic is NOT a medical application and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. Account Registration

You may create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You may also use the App without creating an account, with data stored locally on your device.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Sugar Panic offers optional premium subscriptions (“Sugar Panic Pro”) available as weekly and annual plans. By subscribing:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies
Current pricing is displayed in the App at the time of purchase

5. Free Trials

Certain subscription plans may include a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the free trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and you will be charged the applicable subscription fee. You can cancel during the free trial through your device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality or servers
Use automated systems to access the App in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Sugar Panic — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, the “Hungry One” mascot character, icons, images, and software — are owned by Sugar Panic and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Health Disclaimer

SUGAR PANIC IS A WELLNESS TOOL, NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE. The App is designed to help you manage sugar cravings and build healthier habits. It does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The AI-powered features provide general wellness suggestions and are NOT a substitute for professional medical advice.

If you have a medical condition, eating disorder, diabetes, or any health concern related to sugar intake, consult a qualified healthcare provider before using this App. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by Sugar Panic.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sugar Panic and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and Romania, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Romania.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use of Sugar Panic after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
